Browlift
It is a surgical procedure used to banish wrinkles from the forehead and enhance the shape and position of the eyebrows.
Types of Brow Lift
Classic Lift
Also called open brow lift or coronal lift, it involves a single continuous incision from ear to ear across the top of the head.
Endoscopic Lift
It involves a few shorter incisions in the scalp to insert an endoscope to view the tissues and muscles for alteration.
Signs & Symptoms of Brow Lift Requirement
- Wrinkle lines across the forehead
- Frown lines between the eyebrows
- Asymmetrical eyebrows
- Sagging eyebrows
Treatment of Neck Lift
Step 1 – Anesthesia
General anesthesia is given to the patient.
Step 2- Incision
In Classic lift, an incision is made from ear to ear across the top of the head within hair-bearing skin. The forehead skin is removed from the underlying muscles and excess fatty tissue is wiped off. The forehead and the eyebrows are lifted.
In the Endoscopic lift, 3-5 small incisions are made into the hairline to place an endoscope (a thin tube with a small camera on the end) under the forehead. This allows the alteration of the skin tissues and muscle tightening. The eyebrows are then lifted.
Step 3- Closing
The incisions are closed with stitches or clipped in place.
