Dr. Vinod Raina

Dr. Vinod Raina is one of India’s foremost medical oncologists with more than 40 years of experience. A renowned powerhouse of knowledge and experience, Dr. Raina was a Professor and Head of Medical Oncology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS).

He was also the Principal Investigator of around 50 projects while at AIIMS for 24 years. Nearly 70 residents & DM students whom he mentored at AIIMS are now at leading positions in India and abroad.

Dr. Raina has performed nearly 600 transplants for cancer treatments and about 250 allotransplants. He has also done close to 400 bone marrow/stem cell transplants for various cancers. In addition, he has also performed the first high-dose chemotherapy in India.
