Padma Bhushan Dr. Tarlochan Singh Kler is an internationally recognized interventional cardiologist who has performed more than 25,000 coronary, renal, carotid & peripheral angioplasties. He is a pioneer in electrophysiology and has established the first dedicated electrophysiology department in India at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.

He was the first doctor in India to implant an ICD, CRT-P & CRT-D. Additionally, he also did the first HIS bundle pacing in India. Dr. Kler was instrumental in starting RF Ablation & cardiac device implantation programs in many centers across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Srilanka, and Pakistan.
