Treatment of Dental Veneers
Visit 1
Teeth are lightly prepared to allow for the thickness of the veneer. The dentist makes the impressions and molds of teeth which are then sent to the laboratory for veneer fabrication. In the case of No-Prep veneers, tooth cutting is not needed.
Visit 2
The teeth are cleaned and prepared for bonding with a grinding tool. This creates a rough texture on the teeth, making it easier for the veneer to stick. The veneer is then cemented onto the tooth and ultraviolet light may be used to harden it quickly.
